again and again the cradle crashes
sea spray dances high
like severed feathers
waiting for the one who sleeps
music heralds the coming of the bright hour
I scream aloud trying to make myself heard
the waves follow after and wash my cries away
I was abandoned into the sea
The cradle rings loudly.
A spray shoots up,
As if tearing off feathers.
I wait for the return of the sleepers.
Music marks the bright hour.
I try to complain, raising my voice –
The waves come to erase it from behind.
I was abandoned in the ocean.
